Minutes of the Seventh Annual Meeting of Rotary International

District Secretary Ed Foster called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. There were approximately 65 people in attendance, including youth exchange students.
Secretary Ed Foster conducted a roll call and a quorum was established with 25 clubs present: Battle Creek, Benton Harbor Sunrise, Berrien Springs/Eau Claire, Charlotte, Climax, Delta Township, East Lansing, Gull Lake Area, Haslett-Okemos, Hastings, Jackson Breakfast, Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Sunrise, Lakeshore, Lansing/DeWitt Sunrise, Marshall, Mason, Niles-Buchanan, Oshtemo Paw Paw Lake, Portage, Saugatuck/Douglas, St. Johns, Three Rivers, White Pigeon.
Paul McNamara (St. Johns) moved that the minutes from the Sixth Annual Meeting, May 17, 2014 be approved as printed. Second. Motion carried.
DG Bob Small recognized Rotary International President Representative Pau Netzel. Bob reported the state of the District was “good.”
Past District Treasurer Dana Tousley presented the Finanacial Report which was accepted and placed on file.
PDG Jay Larson gave the Nominating Committee report. PDG Ed Foster moved for the election of Teresa Brandell of the Delta Township Rotary Club, to serve as DG for 2017-18. Support. Passed.
DGE Rick Briscoe reported that the District Conference in 2016 would be held on April 22-23 in Kalamazoo.
DG Bob recognized Dana Tousley, Treasurer, for his assistance with the financial report and treasurer situation. His total years of service as treasurer were commended.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:38 AM.
