 District Governor Elect Rita LaMoreaux

Rita LaMoreaux has been a Rotarian at the Delta-Waverly Rotary Club since 2007. She holds leadership roles in that club as Treasurer and Grant Writer. She has held past leadership roles as Past President and Youth Services Chair. As a supporter of Rotary District 6360 she is the Assistant Governor for Area 13. Rita is the owner of Lacor Consultants, a nonprofit consultant and management firm. With over twenty-years of experience in small nonprofits and office management, Rita helps start up nonprofit organization and administer the day-to-day operations. Recently, Rita was the Government Affairs and Young Agent Specialist for the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents. Prior to that she worked at MIRS News Service and Turner-Dodge House in Lansing. Rita has an Associate’s Degree in Humanities from Lansing Community College, a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts and a Master’s in Public Administration with a Nonprofit Concentration from Western Michigan University. Giving back to her community is important to Rita. She is on the boards of the Delta Township Historical Society, Lansing Community College Alumni Committee Capital Area College Access Network and Association of Fundraising Professionals, Capital Region. Rita has received professional and community service awards for her service. In 2018, she received the Delta-Waverly Rotary Club Rotarian of the Year. In 2017, she received National Young Agent Liaison of the Year from the Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. In 2018, Rita received the Delta-Waverly Rotary Club Rotarian of the Year. In 2017, she received National Young Agent Liaison of the Year from the Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.
